Disney Streaming Services is responsible for developing and operating The Walt Disney Company’s direct-to-consumer video businesses globally, including the ESPN+ premium sports streaming service and Disney+, the upcoming Disney subscription video service. Disney Streaming also operates the flagship NHL app and out-of-market package, NHL.TV, and provides technology services for third-party clients.
With a focus on maximizing Disney’s opportunities in international media markets and expanding the company’s global footprint, DTCI is in charge of regional teams stretching from Europe to Asia to Latin America with responsibilities for the Company’s more than 500 international Disney, Fox and Star India channels.
DTCI Technology creates products, platforms, and innovations for the DTCI Segment and the Walt Disney Company (TWDC) by driving the strategic development and use of technology, building scalable systems and products to empower the DTCI and TWDC businesses and engage consumers. It is responsible for the design and development of more than 200 consumer-facing digital products, advertising technology, consumer data platforms, worldwide linear and digital distribution, and broadcast engineering and operations outside the U.S. It’s engineers, designers, data scientists, product developers and technologists are located in more than 30 countries around the world and enable enterprise-wide capability to deliver on the promise of more direct consumer relationships, more personalized product experiences and more connection and engagement with Disney's content and advertising.
